Ummm, Um, Um, ....nothing says "Greece' more than that delicious smell of freshly grilled squid or octopus wafting over the seaside cafes of any Greek isle harbor. Freshly grilled with a little olive oil, add a quick squeeze of lemon and oh my oh my - what a delicious treat. Throw in the iciest, coldest bottle of Mythos beer possible and in that moment one could not conceive of any greater pleasure. If it is lunchtime in Greece - you know where to find me. I'm salivating now just thinking about it! Off to the market for a little Octopus!
I would have to try it it looks alive!?/ i hope it isn't :> but i love hearing other cultures treats and i can be open minded

That poem about the fallen trees is beautiful. Did you write that or was it by Pablo Neruda like another commenter mentioned? Either way, thanks for sharing that.
Have a nice day.
Hi Michelle,
ReplyDeleteThat was definitely Neruda. I hope it still says so at the top.
