This Sea Nettle Jellyfish (Chrysaora quinquecirrha) was hanging around our lunch spot today in the quaint little town of Manteo on Roanoke Island in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Apparently they like brackish water with low salinity - gives you some added incentive to stay up on the water skis.
