Under the Desert Sun - We All Look the Same
An eight hour ride across the Saudi desert and one is reminded of two things: Firstly, Mark Twain was right - Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. And secondly - under the desert sun - we all look the same.
