Isn't this just like you, to pour out these images, any one of which could stand alone, before us. The moments you've caught--Apolo looking like a little boy, about to settle his helmet over a doo-rag--the ferocious skater all clenched up in her tiny blue dress--the blurred disc with one skate sticking out of it. Just incredible. I could not watch the Olympics this year--too sleep-deprived and pulled in a million directions. I had to be on my game as a mom and wife. But oh, I have enjoyed seeing it through your eyes. Thank you.
All right, sugar, is there any way we can rig up a rationale whereby I get to tag along with you? I just put up an Olympics post just to audition. Okay, I didn't really--I was going to do it anyway. But still.
Great photos as always--and you have revealed figure skaters as scarier than clowns.
Your photos are amazing - humbling even- in that you capture not just a moment in time, but the message in the moment! That's Olympian talent! Gold Medal Photographic Award deserved!
